Dedicated to the Study and Care

A VISION PUT INTO PRACTICE
Dr. Robert A. Chase, Emile Holman Professor of Surgery Emeritus and founder of the Robert A. Chase Hand & Upper Limb Center, has devoted his career to approaching medical and surgical problems through the efforts of a team. Hand surgery, in the vision of Dr. Chase, represents a union of three specialties: General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery. Our team of faculty physicians honors this philosophy through a collaborative effort dedicated to the study and treatment of problems affecting the hand and upper limb. |

The faculty members of the Chase Hand & Upper Limb Center represent two Stanford University School of Medicine departments: the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, and the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Surgery.
