Overview
The Robert A. Chase Hand & Upper Limb Center at Stanford is an interdisciplinary program, representing two departments: Plastic Surgery in the Department of Surgery, and the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Our faculty members are Dr. Hentz, Dr. Ladd, Dr. Chang, Dr. McAdams, Dr. Green, Dr. Srivastava, and Dr. Chase (Emeritus). Hand Surgery, in the vision of Dr. Robert A. Chase, represents a union between three specialties: General Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery. We are a collaborative effort dedicated to the study and treatment of problems affecting the hand and upper extremity. A multidisciplinary approach permits comprehensive care of the hand and upper limb, and combines the talents of several faculty members to provide exceptional teaching and research.
